Open Space sessions allow attendees to shape the focus and discussion at OPEN 2018 by running their own content – so get involved and have your say!
Ten Open Space sessions of about 45 minutes each are spread across the two days. To save time at the event Open Space sessions will be proposed, voted on and added to the programme in advance.
If you’d like to propose a session to run as an Open Space, or would like to vote on the proposals put forward by others, you need to join our Loomio group. Ticket holders should already have received an invite to join. You then need to go to the Poll to add your proposal or vote for other people’s sessions.
This is your opportunity to help shape the content at OPEN 2018 so please do get involved.
First, join our Loomio group.
Then go to the Poll.
How to add a proposal
Use the “ADD ANOTHER OPTION” button (below the list of existing proposals) to add your proposal for a session. Make sure you include your full name at the start of your proposal so we can contact you about running your session, and provide full details about what your session would cover.
NB: if you want to add a proposal, you MUST do so before you vote – AND REFRESH THE PAGE TO SEE YOUR PROPOSAL – you will not get the chance to add a proposal after you have voted.
How to vote:
You can vote on your top three proposals. Simply drag and drop the proposals into order, with your favourites at the top, and hit VOTE.
The 10 most popular sessions will be added to the programme a few days before the event.
Please note: Only OPEN 2018 ticket holders are eleigible to run Open Space sessions.
